Engaging Fun on Christmas Eve at SIT
“Happy, happy Christmas, that can win us back to the delusions of our childhood days, recall to the old man the pleasures of his youth, and transport the traveler back to his own fireside and quiet home!”. These lines are mesmerizing and are the reflection of the exact meaning of Christmas day. At SIT also the day got celebrated with fun and frolic.
The day started with the community lunch where every member is supposed to bring a dish from home. The dishes got laid, the plates were full and so was the stomach. Later there were some exciting games on the floor.
The first was of PASSING THE CHRISTMAS PARCEL where the balls were passed and the person who was out had some tongue twisters to speak and some questions to be asked. Mr. Rajeev Sharma was declared as a winner of this game.
The second was the JINGLE BALL & BASKET BUZZ whereby the Two Teams have to win the game by putting the balls in the basket from a distance. As the game commenced the team of Salina emerged as the winner.
The last was the very tricky STICKY MIND TEASER under which the participant had to pick up a slip from the bowl and have to create a sentence on the Christmas related words.
As the games got over, the winners got the Toffees and the yummy chocolates in prizes. Soon after this the party began. The team sang the Christmas song and danced on beats together. Later they went together for viewing the record breaking movie ”DHOOM 3”.
The day completed with contentment and smiles. After all this is what SIT is all about.
